Milford won the last time they faced Cissna Park and things went their way on Monday too. The Bearcats came out on top against the Timberwolves by a score of 5-1. The win was nothing new for the Bearcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Beau Wright and Hixon Lafond made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Wright didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Lafond tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Wright went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one run, while Lafond went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave Lafond a new career-high.

Milford's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games.
