Soccer Recap: Millbrook's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Millbrook and Charlottesville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Millbrook had to settle for second. They came up short against the Black Knights, falling 5-0. The shutout was out of character for Millbrook seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Millbrook moved to 9-7-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Charlottesville, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0-3.

Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Charlottesville, they will take on Handley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Handley will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Charlottesville surely won't give up without a fight.
