Preview: Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT vs. Watertown
After two weeks on the road, Watertown is heading back home. They will square off against Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Watertown, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They took a serious blow against Wolcott, falling 18-53. Watertown were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 18-38.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Crosby three weeks ago, Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT came back down to earth. Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-42 punch to the gut against Woodland Regional. Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT were down by 6-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Watertown took the contest and then some with a 49-0 victory over Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT the last time the two teams met. Will Watertown repeat their success, or does Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
