Altoona is a perfect 3-0 against Middletown since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Mountain Lions will take on the Blue Raiders at 10:00 a.m. Altoona is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Altoona's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against DuBois by a score of 2-0. Ava Frye had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Altoona.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Middletown was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of East Pennsboro by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Middletown in their meetings with East Pennsboro: they've now lost four in a row.

Altoona's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Altoona was able to grind out a solid victory over Middletown when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mountain Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
