Axtell not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Bertrand Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five matchups in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-10.

Emily Danburg paced Axtell's offense, picking up 14 kills. Danburg got some help from Madison Wells and her 27 assists. Leah Stritt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Axtell's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Bertrand, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Axtell will host Blue Hill on Friday. As for Bertrand, they will head out on the road to square off against Wilcox-Hildreth on Tuesday.
