Chapel Hill picks up 12th straight win at home

The Chapel Hill Red Devils had already won 23 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.2 points), and they went ahead and made it 24 on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 92-33 win over Winona. Chapel Hill has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Chapel Hill had a senior duo take command as Anthony Ramirez scored 21 points along with five steals and Braden Buchanan scored 21 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ramirez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Banda, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

Chapel Hill's win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.2 points. As for Winona, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Chapel Hill will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Vernon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 896th, while the Red Devils are ranked 137th). As for Winona, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Quitman is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
