Soccer Recap: Booker Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Booker can now relate to. They came up short against the Seminole Warhawks on Monday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Warhawks are ranked 105th).

Booker has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season. As for Seminole, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4-1.

Booker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole, they will square off against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Seminole's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
