Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. San Elizario narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Canutillo 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for San Elizario.

Abigail Rios made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
