Soccer Recap: Jackson-Olin Comes Up Short

Jackson-Olin came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the Huffman Vikings. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost six in a row.

Jackson-Olin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Huffman, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Coming up, Jackson-Olin will head out on the road to challenge Ramsay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson-Olin has given up an average of 5.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Huffman, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against Carver Birmingham on the 14th.
