Football Recap: Kaiser Cats vs. La Puente Warriors
Kaiser and La Puente squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Kaiser had to settle for second. They fell 26-19 to the Warriors. The contest was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Cats couldn't quite close it out.

Kaiser didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kingston Tucker. He has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last six times he's played.
Aaron Silva had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 247 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.4 yards per carry for La Puente. That's the most rushing yards Silva has posted since back in October of 2024.
This is the second loss in a row for Kaiser and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for La Puente, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Kaiser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Puente, they have already played their next matchup, a 50-28 win against Viewpoint on the 14th.
