Jay County posted their biggest win since January 20th on Tuesday. They blew past the Blackford Bruins, posting a 57-21 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Jay County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liz Brunswick, who went 7 for 17 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Hallie Schwieterman, who went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points and four steals.

The win got Jay County back to even at 5-5. As for Blackford, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jay County will head out to face off against New Castle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
