Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lakeside Lutheran was the 2-1 winner over Janesville Craig when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Saturday.

Janesville Craig's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Adams, who had 14 assists and five kills. Abbie Claas was another key player, getting nine kills and five digs.

Lakeside Lutheran has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Janesville Craig, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Coming up, Lakeside Lutheran will be taking part in a tournament against Stoughton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Janesville Craig, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Edgerton at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
