It was a good run, but Scottsdale Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Northwest Christian Crusaders, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Scottsdale Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-21.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Northwest Christian, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Scottsdale Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Horizon Honors on the 8th. As for Northwest Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Thunderbird at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
