Basketball Recap: Colonie Central's Loss Ends 11-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Colonie Central lost against Albany Academy for Boys back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Colonie Central Raiders were beaten by the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets 81-39.

Colonie Central's defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Albany Academy for Boys, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

When Colonie Central and Albany Academy for Boys next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Colonie Central will try to stop Aquinas Institute's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Albany Academy for Boys will face off against North Cobb Christian and their nine-game winning streak at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
