Volleyball Recap: Eastview Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eastview had won two straight games and Ava Montanez did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Lightning blew past the Woodbury Royals 3-0 for which the team can thank Montanez, who had 24 digs and one assist. Montanez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 21 every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory didn't come easy: Woodbury scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Eastview's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Eastview will face off against Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodbury, they will take on Rosemount at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
