After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln Christian, Kearney Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the St. Cecilia Bluehawks, posting a 65-28 victory. The Stars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Kearney Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Oliver Sharp, who posted 18 points. Owen Axmann was another key player, putting up 14 points.

With the victory, Kearney Catholic broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-8. As for St. Cecilia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-16.
