Basketball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne lost against Lenox back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wayne Falcons took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lenox Tigers. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lenox, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will host Martensdale-St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lenox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lenox surely won't give up without a fight.
