Delhi skates past Tensas with ease

Recap: Delhi Bears vs. Tensas Panthers

The Delhi Bears waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tensas 68-40 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Delhi considering their two-point performance the match before.

Delhi's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Dural led the charge by scoring 22 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Dural scored 15 or more points. Jay Wright was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight steals and five assists.

Delhi has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Tensas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Delhi will head out on the road to take on Delta Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delta Charter will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 367th, while Delhi is ranked 126th). As for Tensas, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Delhi Charter at 5:30 p.m.
