Basketball Game Preview: Canyon Springs Pioneers vs. Sunrise Mountain Miners

Two dominant guards in Ariyanah Custard and Delyla Ross are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Canyon Springs Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sunrise Mountain Miners at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Canyon Springs has four straight wins, Sunrise Mountain has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Canyon Springs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-17 victory over Mojave.

Meanwhile, Sunrise Mountain ended up a good deal behind Basic on Monday and lost 52-34.

Canyon Springs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Sunrise Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Canyon Springs didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Sunrise Mountain when the teams last played on January 7th, but they still walked away with a 50-46 win.
