Softball Recap: The Linsly School Takes a Loss

The Linsly School Cadets lost 12-4 to the Morgantown Mohigans on Wednesday. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reagan Van Scyoc made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. Aubrei Joanou also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

The Linsly School's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Morgantown, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Linsly School will challenge Oak Glen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Morgantown, they will face off against University at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Mohigans surely won't give up without a fight.
