Basketball Recap: Eagle Point Comes Up Short

Eagle Point and Ashland squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Eagle Point had to settle for second. They fell 58-50 to the Ashland Grizzlies. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Eagle Point's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Ashland, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 12-10.

Looking ahead, Eagle Point will head out to challenge Churchill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ashland, they will take on Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
