Volleyball Game Preview: South County Vipers vs. New Berlin Pretzels

South County hasn't had much luck against New Berlin recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Vipers will square off against the Pretzels at 7:00 p.m. South County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

South County can't be too worried about heading out to take on New Berlin: they just beat Calvary at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Vipers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Saints 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vipers have posted since September 30th.

South County was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (69-62), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 12-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, New Berlin came up short against Camp Point Central on Saturday and fell 2-0.

New Berlin's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for South County, the victory got them back to even at 16-16.
