Softball Game Preview: Lower Richland Diamond Hornets vs. South Florence Bruins

The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets will face off against the South Florence Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lower Richland has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with seven straight defeats, while South Florence will come in with six straight victories.

Lower Richland fell victim to Lakewood and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 19-0 to the Gators.

South Florence hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in nine consecutive games.

South Florence's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Lower Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
