Bishop came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Incarnate Word Academy Angels as they made off with a 14-2 victory. Considering the Badgers have won 12 contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cambrie Rios made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Bishop got a big performance out of Jasmine Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Idalis Ramirez also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Bishop always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Incarnate Word Academy only posted an OBP of .150.

Bishop pushed their record up to 23-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Incarnate Word Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-4-1.

Coming up, Bishop will take on Odem on Saturday. Incarnate Word Academy has already played their next game (against St. Francis Episcopal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
