Tri-Valley had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came out on top against the Heyworth Hornets by a score of  2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  2-0  two weeks ago.
 Presley Shanahan paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Shanahan got some help from  Lauren Louck and her nine assists. Louck was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
 Heyworth lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Lyla Tate, who  had eight  digs, six  kills,  and one  block. She has been hot for a while, having  posted six or more  kills the last 19 times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Karissa Cook, who  had eight  kills and six  digs.
Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Heyworth, their loss dropped their record down to 23-9.
 Tri-Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  defeat against Eureka on the 25th. As for Heyworth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  loss against LeRoy on the 25th.
