Football Recap: Biglerville Canners vs. York Catholic Fighting Irish

Biglerville didn't have done well against York Catholic recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Biglerville Canners strolled past the York Catholic Fighting Irish with points to spare, taking the game 21-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Canners.

Biglerville wouldn't let York Catholic keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Biglerville can thank Landen Taylor and Brayden Pearce for forcing both of them. Pearce also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making six total tackles, and defending a pass.

Biglerville's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for York Catholic, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Biglerville will play host again on Friday to welcome Northeastern, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. As for York Catholic, they will host Renaissance Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
