Basketball Recap: Lititz Christian Skates Past Harrisburg Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lititz Christian). They blew past the Harrisburg Academy Spartans 78-42 on Thursday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

Lititz Christian found their leader in sophomore Jack Kriebel, who went 11 of 22 on his way to 27 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kriebel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Federico Cortes, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Lititz Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Lititz Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Harrisburg Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Lititz Christian and Harrisburg Academy will both be playing Harrisburg Christian the next time they take the court. Lititz Christian will head out to face Harrisburg Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Harrisburg Academy will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
