Volleyball Game Preview: West Wilkes Blackhawks vs. North Wilkes Vikings

West Wilkes is 2-8 against North Wilkes since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will challenge the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, West Wilkes earned a 3-1 victory over East Wilkes.

The win didn't come easy: East Wilkes scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, North Wilkes came tearing into Monday's match with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans.

North Wilkes was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-18.

North Wilkes' victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for West Wilkes, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

West Wilkes might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from North Wilkes in their previous meeting on Thursday. Can the Blackhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
