Baseball Recap: Bingham Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bingham, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Herriman Mustangs on Monday. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bingham got a great performance from Boston Snyder as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Porter Larsen was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kam Beck, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Bingham hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive contests.

Bingham's record now sits at 16-7. As for Herriman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
