Eastpointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Madison Eagles. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked the Shamrocks' highest-scoring match to date.

Eastpointe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Madison, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
