Football Recap: T.W. Andrews' Undefeated Season over After Five Games

T.W. Andrews came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 41-20 to the Randleman Tigers. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Although T.W. Andrews took the loss, they still got scores from David Hill, Cayden Zellous, and Nas Richardson.

T.W. Andrews didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jayden Pipkins.

Randleman was led to victory by Kayden Saunders and John Kirkpatrick. Saunders rushed for 61 yards and a pair of TDs, while Kirkpatrick threw for 152 yards and one touchdown. What's more, Kirkpatrick racked up 31 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, T.W. Andrews fell to 4-1. As for Randleman, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2.
