Fleming proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 44) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 33-32 victory over the Prairie Mustangs. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won eight in a row.

Fleming didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Conner Marchant.

Fleming now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Prairie, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Fleming will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cheyenne Wells at 6:00 p.m. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Prairie, they will take on Caliche at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffaloes will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
