Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lynchburg Homeschool

Lynchburg HomeSchool extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Josiah Jantomaso. The Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots blew past Appalachian Christian, posting a 70-32 victory thanks in part to Jantomaso, who posted 19 points. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Rawls, who had six points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Lynchburg HomeSchool pushed their record up to 3-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Appalachian Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

When Lynchburg HomeSchool and Appalachian Christian next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Lynchburg HomeSchool will try to stop New Covenant's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lynchburg HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Appalachian Christian will try to stop KACHEA's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
