Football Recap: Shadow Hills Extends Winning Streak to Three

Shadow Hills waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 19-6 win over the Poly Bears.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Shadow Hills' defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Alyssa Martinez and Isabella Moreno, who racked up all four sacks between them. Moreno has been hot, having posted at least one sack the last seven times she's played.

Shadow Hills' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Poly, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Shadow Hills will welcome Indio at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Poly, they are taking a road trip to square off against Temescal Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
