Soccer Recap: Nazareth Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Nazareth Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell just short of the Downers Grove North Trojans by a score of 2-1.

Nazareth Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6-1. As for Downers Grove North, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6-4.

Looking ahead, Nazareth Academy will head out to take on Lyons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Downers Grove North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Downers Grove South at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Downers Grove North are facing Downers Grove South at the right time seeing as Downers Grove South are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
