Softball Recap: Holtville Bulldogs vs. Prattville Lions

Holtville was the 15-11 winner over Prattville when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avery Goff was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

Holtville's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14-1. As for Prattville, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-17.

Holtville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prattville, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Tuscaloosa County at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
