Carter Martens posted a new career-high in runs on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those runs were his first of the season.

Coming up, Martens and New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will square off against Maple River at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Martens had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in May of 2024 15-4.
