Basketball Game Preview: NCSSM: Morganton Dragons vs. Mitchell Mountaineers

NCSSM: Morganton hasn't had much luck against Mitchell recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The NCSSM: Morganton Dragons will be playing at home against the Mitchell Mountaineers at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

NCSSM: Morganton is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 32nd straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Owen 53-15.

Meanwhile, Mitchell unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 43-29 bruising from Mountain Heritage. The game was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but the Mountaineers couldn't quite close it out.

NCSSM: Morganton's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Mitchell, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.
