BLUFFTON, S.C. -
Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, S.C.) will rue a missed two-point conversation against
Bluffton (S.C.), as provided the difference in a 27-26 defeat.
The Bobcats led 21-14 at halftime, but the Patriots recaptured the lead on a touchdown run by
Charles Loftland with 9:00 remaining in the fourth. Bluffton finally took the lead for good as
Gerald Robinson ran for a touchdown with 7:00 left in the fourth quarter.
Robinson was the top performer for BHS. The junior running back ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
Loftland made a difference for Fort Dorchester. The senior running back ran for three touchdowns.
Bluffton (9-0) will play a AAAA Region VIII game against Colleton County next week, while Fort Dorchester (4-7) will take on Hanahan in a non-conference game.
