Seton and Christ Chapel Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Seton Conquistadors will head out on the road to face off against Christ Chapel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Christ Chapel Academy likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Seton blew past Fredericksburg V, posting an 83-41 victory. Given the Conquistadors' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Victory are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after only 29 points in their last match, Christ Chapel Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Immanuel Christian on Friday. Christ Chapel Academy strolled past Immanuel Christian with points to spare, taking the game 65-47.

Seton better keep an eye on David Neaves. He was instrumental in Christ Chapel Academy's win, almost dropping a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Willis, who went 5 for 11 to rack up 14 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks.

Seton pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Christ Chapel Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Everything came up roses for Seton against Christ Chapel Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
