Soccer Recap: Proviso West Comes Up Short

Proviso West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Elgin Maroons. That's two games in a row now that Proviso West have lost by exactly eight goals.

Proviso West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Elgin, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 13-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Proviso West will head out to take on Ridgewood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Elgin, they will venture away from home to face off against DeKalb at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Elgin are facing DeKalb at the right time seeing as DeKalb are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
