Minico is 8-2 against Mountain Home since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Minico Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Mountain Home Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

Minico is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Twin Falls just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Bruins.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain Home). Everything went their way against Burley on Wednesday as Mountain Home made off with a 66-46 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Minico's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-9. As for Mountain Home, their win bumped their record up to 2-13.

Everything came up roses for Minico against Mountain Home when the teams last played on January 15th, as the squad secured a 57-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Minico since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
