 After losing to North Pocono the last time they met, Holy Redeemer decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Holy Redeemer Royals had just enough and edged the North Pocono Trojans out  6-5.
  Drew Cisney was a major factor no matter where he played. He  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Cisney was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Cisney wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Nick Mazzarella, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On North Pocono's side, they got a good showing from  Nick Reese, who   kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched.
 Even though they lost, North Pocono  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Holy Redeemer's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for North Pocono, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-10.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Redeemer will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Tunkhannock at 4:30  p.m. Holy Redeemer's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so Tunkhannock's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Pocono, they will head out on the road to  take on  Abington Heights at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Abington Heights will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something North Pocono surely won't give up without a fight.
