The Del Rio Rams''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 28-7 defeat at the hands of Alexander. Del Rio was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Alexander apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
It was another big night for Gael Rodriguez, who rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last six games he's played.
Del Rio has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Alexander, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Del Rio will head out on the road to face off against Eagle Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eagle Pass will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Alexander will take on United at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. United is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
