Wilson came into Thursday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Lakewood Gators on Thursday. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Elon Mack made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Makayla Gadson and Madison Moses did most of the damage at the plate: Gadson went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Moses got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Moses has posted since back in March. Ashley Charles was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Lakewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.
