Volleyball Recap: Colorado Academy Comes Up Short

Colorado Academy lost against The Classical Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Titans. The shutout was out of character for the Mustangs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Colorado Academy still got an impressive performance from Alexa Lane, who had 11 digs and three assists. Lane is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Colorado Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for The Classical Academy, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Colorado Academy will square off against Columbine at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for The Classical Academy, they will face off against Evergreen at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
