Basketball Recap: Thornton Takes a Loss

Thornton lost against Kankakee back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Wildcats and the Kays didn't end well, with the Wildcats falling 83-67. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thornton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kankakee, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Thornton will be home for the holidays to greet Thornridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kankakee, they will challenge DePaul College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
