After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenforest, Jasper County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-45 victory over the McNair Mustangs. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

McNair lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dennis Johnson, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points. What's more, Johnson also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024. Kamari Reynolds was another key player, going 5 of 6 to rack up 10 points and eight rebounds.

The victory got Jasper County back to even at 12-12. As for McNair, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-18.

Jasper County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McNair, they have already played their next matchup, an 82-39 defeat against Greenforest on the 6th.
