Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Green Mountain Union turned things around against White River Valley on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1.

Meanwhile, Leland & Gray beat Long Trail 3-1 on Wednesday.

Green Mountain Union's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Leland & Gray, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.
