Football Recap: Pennridge Extends Winning Streak to Five

With a playoff win on the line, Pennridge rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Coatesville Red Raiders, sneaking past 17-14. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Noah Keating was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Pennridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chase Clontz and Sean Leuthe.

Pennridge's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Coatesville, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pennridge will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Quakertown at 10:15 a.m. on the 27th. Coatesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
